DS AUTOMOBILES at RÉVÉLATIONS 2025:
PRESIDENTIAL N°8 and DS x MÉTIERS D’ART IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Partner of Révélations the Brand also exhibited a retrospective with photos of its design competition DS x Métiers d'Art, as well as a work by Lyse Drouaine, the last Laureate.

This is the fourth participation of the Brand at the exhibition Révélations in seven editions. With the exhibition of PRESIDENTIAL N°8, the Brand continues the tradition.

In June 2023, DS Automobiles unveiled its interior manifesto M.i. 21, vision of the future of the interiors of the DS models. In 2022, it was the DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE concept car and in 2019, the DS X E-TENSE concept.

PRESIDENTIAL DS N°8 is the synthesis of know-how and French technology

The visitors of Révélations discovered PRESIDENTIAL N°8, unique model, discoverable and 100% electric, used by the Elysée for the commemorations of the 80^th anniversary of the 8 May 1945 Victory day. Its shade Bleu Saphir is exclusive and its interior finish results from beautiful collaborations with craftspeople. 

“Lison de Caunes created a magnificent decoration in straw marquetry, with a fan pattern reminiscent of the Decorative Arts, treated in a contemporary manner. The exhibition DS x MÉTIERS D'ART, punctuated by an original work by Lyse Drouaine

Lovers of craft art discovered a retrospective of the two contests DS x MÉTIERS D'ART through photographs of the 3 finalists of each edition. 

DS x MÉTIERS D'ART engages with artisans through a technical challenge. This competition strengthens the links between the Brand, bearer of French know-how, and the best national artisans. It also stimulates the creativity of the DS design studio’s designers for colors, materials and finishes.

The first edition dedicated to Anne Lopez in 2022. The artist, also present at Révélations, had created an engraved stucco decoration enhanced with gold leaf that catches the light, to dress the interior of a unique DS 9.

The second edition, called DS LUMEN, named Lyse Drouaine laureate in 2023. The artist had illustrated herself with a backlit grille woven in optical fibers. The competition invited craftsmen to imagine light effects through the grille of a 100% electric DS 3 E-TENSE. 

Lyse Drouaine was exhibiting this year “Rayon de Miel”, her latest original creation, on the DS Automobiles stand. This luminous tapestry is composed of diffusing optical fiber with agent pearl finishes, mixed with wool and silk and cotton threads. It was woven on a smooth bass loom at the Luxdawn workshop in Aubusson (23). 

DS Automobiles could announce the next edition of DS x MÉTIERS D'ART by the end of the year.
