TAYLOR MADE N°4 CONCEPT :
DESIGNED FOR COMPETITION
Revealed in world premiere at the Brussels show on January 9, 2026, this radical concept was developed by the designers of DS DESIGN STUDIO in collaboration with the promising Taylor Barnard, British driver of the DS PENSKE Formula E Team.

Taylor made N°4 Concept is 100% electric and efficient. It echoes the commitment of DS Automobiles in Formula E competition with the DS street cars.
Like a Formula E team, the Colors, Materials & Finishes designers have designed the finishes of Taylor made N°4 Concept with the same level of requirement and attention to detail.
Taylor made N°4 Concept takes up the codes of the DS PERFORMANCE Line limited edition (available on DS 3, N°4 and DS 7), with its Titanium shade and Light Gold touches.
Taylor made N°4 Concept: a radical design, inspired by performance
From the hood to the rear spoiler, the design of Taylor made N°4 Concept serves lightness, performance and efficiency. Its silhouette is lowered, its wings widened and its semi-closed grille.
A spectacular graphic effect reveals the name of the inspiration model :'N°4'. The front and rear pixelated lights are simple LED bars, light and efficient.
« We were inspired by the performance of a high-level athlete to design Taylor made N°4 Concept.
Its volume is bodybuiled, without superfluous appendages. Every detail serves the aerodynamics, such as the air extractor, the full rims and the double rear spoiler.
At the rear, the design of the vertical lights signatures, a nod to the aero-blade of N°8, guides the air flows to improve autonomy. This gives a bestial-style One Off, designed for our pilot.”

Materials and finishes that play on contrasts
The color of the body evokes a stealth aircraft and offers four interpretations of titanium. The matte appearance Pure Titanium at the front evolves into a glossy lacquered shade Liquid Titanium. The black pavilion and the spoiler, both Black Titanium underline the radical lines of the concept.
This sobriety contrasts with the crumpled metallic textile Craft Titanium, present on the rocker panels and the air extractor. This fabric is a nod to the carbon of FE single-seaters. and purple is a nod to Taylor's favourite colour.
The sheathing of these technical elements required the expertise of the DS DESIGN STUDIO master saddlers.
“The contrast in materials and technique was the key word to create Taylor made N°4 Concept. We have taken over the codes dear to Taylor, inspired by the worlds of racing and video games. The Titanium gray taint, almost monochrome, contrasts with colorful accents.
The purple hints are a nod to Taylor’s favorite color. They are present on the door straps, the Taylor made logo, the lighting of the rear lights and the number 77. The Light Gold accents enhance the DS logo, mirror caps and wheel cabochons.”
